Since Hijuda has originally taken Jet Grind Radio from my upload queue, I've been trying to find ways to take something from him as well. But alas....his links aren't quite expired (some dude had a problem with them, but I didn't) and I can't re-upload them or anything(the best I can do is make mirror links). So yeah....I decided to take it to the next level to bring you this Dreamcast Direct Exclusive....De La Jet Set Radio! :D

well i'm not sure about the stuff with StoneArts and repacking n stuff...but I remember the Jet grind radio..which waz AWESOME! and this is an exclusive or something..so it should be lotsa fun :028:

Thanks for sharing but I have this but Pavlik ver. the main difference is the music sampling is much higher in pavs so better sounding. So basically he re-ripped the music at higher rate and (re)packed it the iso/file together

Almost forgot those who have the pal ver your're not missing anything except using the crosskey to tag. For once the Jap got the short end of the stick, the orignal had no American stages and went straight into explosion stages

This is an exclusive in Japan because it features the songs from the american version which were left out of the Japanese release.

This rip is horrible because the audio quality is pure crap, but thanks nonetheless, I already have this game.

One question...I checked that the torrent you link to just says Jet Set Radio...is it "De La Jet Set Radio" or just the original japanese game? because I have the original thinking I was download Jet "Grind" radio but it was Jet Set Radio...I haven't heard the Rob Zombie music and such in the game so far so I don't think
it's de la jet set radio, but since I heard that de la...puts itself automatically on the language your dreamcast is in and since I have an american Dreamcast the game is in english...so I don't really know. I know that the original one is only in Japanese...

I heard that Sega put the breaks on that thing because of Copyright infringement. Those things are soon going to be as rare as the Broadband Adapters.

Description:
After the public reported several bugs in the original Japanese version of Jet Set Radio, Sega decided to re-release it under the name of De La Jet Set Radio ("Deluxe" Jet Set Radio). This version was only sold in Japan via Dreamcast Direct (later renamed Sega Direct) making it one of the more rare Dreamcast titles available. The gameplay in this version was easier to pick up and included the added music from the European and US versions, including the two levels only included in these two versions. The text featured in the game is localized in the main language of your Dreamcast, unlike the original Japanese version, which means that if your Dreamcast system is set to English language, the text in the game will be in English. The same goes for Japanese, German, French and Spanish. However, the voices remain Japanese.

Basically the music has been ripped at a higher quality and re-packed into the iso. The original StoneArts rip had the worlds lowest music quality.

This version is way better than StoneArts version and audio sounds great! I recommend this version over awful StoneArts. Just download, unzip and there you have it. Tested this myself and burned with Alcohol 120%.

Works with NullDC perfectly w/ a universal bios. Ran it off a CDR burned with Nero pefectly., Does this mean it should work in a Dreamcast I will be getting soon?

Worked great for me burning with Alcohol. Could not get it to work with ImgBurn. Thanks for sharing this!

IMGBURN doesn't recognize multisession CDI images. You just have to stick to Discjuggler (v4.60 pro, stay away from v6) or alcohol 120%
