Raine Emulators  Raine is an emulator, it emulates some M68000 and M68020 arcade games and is mainly focused on Taito and Jaleco games hardware. It started as an experiment with the Rainbow Islands romset, dumped by Aracorn/Romlist. Raine can emulate many nice games now, including new additions from Cave and other companies. Sound was improved thanks to the work of Hiromitsu Shioya. More recently, (taken from their homepage). You can view their official docs for the Raine emulator in PDF format here RaineWin (Homepage) Requires more horsepower then the dos version, so may be less attractive to some. But out of personal experience, I don't see any problems with this one. Sound and graphics is emulated like a charm. Note that you will not be able to use with this package alone, but we've included the required SDL download below. Just put this in the emulator folder. Both versions now also include CPS2 support (28 games!) Download RaineWin v0.43.2 Download SDL (Stable) v1.2.7 RaineDOS (Homepage) Less demanding then the windows version but otherwise pretty similar. Good for users on slow systems such as Pentium I or AMD K6 based. Requires no additional files in order to emulate games. Download RaineDOS v0.42 |
